How to Use Vitamin E Oil on Face

Moisturize Your Skin:
Vitamin E oil works as an excellent moisturizer. Wash your face with soap and warm water and make sure it’s dry before applying some vitamin E oil with a small piece of cotton. Wear it overnight and wash your face again in the morning. Not only will your skin feel more moisturized, but due to the antioxidants in the oil, your skin will glow. However, please don’t do this more than twice a week since it’s not recommended to be used as a daily moisturizer. I personally don't leave it overnight... I rinse it off about 10 minutes after applying it. Do what works best for you!

 Photo: Promotes healthy hair growth

A few drops of tea oil, mixed with a carrier oil (olive oil, coconut oil or sweet almond oil) massaged into your scalp will unclog the hair follicles, nourish the roots and help to induce hair growth. Always remember to mix with a carrier oil first as, on its own, Tea Tree oil is too strong for direct application to your skin.

Beauty Tip of the Day!

Be a natural (brow) beauty
Don’t go all tweezer-happy—full brows are more flattering. "Tweeze strays where necessary, then fill in your brows with a pencil one shade lighter than your natural brow color," says celebrity brow expert Robert Bolanos. This creates a softer, more natural effect—using the same shade can look harsh.

Drink More Water!

Top 10 Benefits of Drinking Water: Don't Medicate, Hydrate!

1. Increases Energy & Relieves Fatigue – Since your brain is mostly water, drinking it helps you think, focus and concentrate better and be more alert. As an added bonus, your energy levels are also boosted!

2. Promotes WEIGHT LOSS – Removes by-products of fat, reduces eating intake (by filling up your tummy if consumed prior to meals), reduces hunger (hello natural APPETITE SUPPRESSANT!), raises your metabolism and has zero calories!

3. Flushes Out Toxins – Gets rid of waste through sweat and urination which reduces the risk of kidney stones and UTI’s (urinary tract infections).

4. Improves Skin Complexion – Moisturizes your skin, keeps it fresh, soft, glowing and smooth. GETS RID OF WRINKLES. It’s the best anti-aging treatment around!

5. Maintains Regularity – Aids in digestion as water is essential to digest your food and prevents CONSTIPATION.

6. Boosts Immune System – A water guzzler is less likely to get sick. And who wouldn't rather feel healthy the majority of the time? Drinking plenty of water helps fight against flu, cancer and other ailments like heart attacks.

7. Natural HEADACHE REMEDY – Helps relieve and prevent headaches (migraines & back pains too!) which are commonly caused by dehydration.

8. Prevents Cramps & Sprains - Proper hydration helps keep joints lubricated and muscles more elastic so JOINT PAIN is less likely.

9. Puts You in a Good Mood – When the body is functioning at its best, you will feel great and be happy!

10. Save Money! - Water is FREE! Even if you choose bottled/filtered water, it’s STILL cheaper than that high sugar and fat-filled latte!

Beauty Tip of the Day!

Easy Mascara Hacks!
1. Bend the brush of the mascara wand so it's easier to maneuver.
2. Wipe off excess mascara on a tissue to prevent clumps.
3. Keep your lashes curled longer by wiggling the brush back and forth at the base of your lashes, and then swiping to the tips.
4. Soak your mascara tube in a cup of hot water to make the formula liquid-y instead of clumpy. This will make the formula thinner and easier to APPLY.
5. Heat your eyelash curler with a blow-dryer so your lashes curl more easily and hold the shape longer.
6. Rotate the angle of the eyelash curler for an even more intense curl.

Who needs Botox when you have bananas? That’s right: You can use a banana as an all-natural, homemade facial mask that moisturizes your SKIN and leaves it looking and feeling softer. Mash up a medium-sized ripe banana into a smooth paste, then gently apply it to your face and neck. Let it set for 10 to 20 minutes, then rinse it off with cold water.

Check out the fantastic news from TINT School of Makeup and Cosmetology's Partners over at Seattle Talent! Dez Flores is really getting in the spotlight. Guess who was in charge of Dez's hair and makeup styling at her convention in LA where she got her big breaks? TINT Founder Cristina Grimm and her staff! Congrats Dez, and everyone cheer her on in January!

I know I just gave an update on the wonderfully talented actor/singer/model Ms. Dez Flores, and all of her hard work on her EP that was supposed to drop soon, but that has been put on hold, because this amazing young woman has some exceptionally exciting things happening right now.  Photo: Eye makeup tip: Instead of purchasing expensive eye make up remover, you can generally use your moisturizer for almost all eyemakeup removal needs, even waterproof stuff. Dab moisturizer generously in area you want to remove (or apply moisturizer to finger and then close lashes along the fingertip) and then wait about a minute. Remove with cotton pad and/or q-tip.
