Plump lips are all the rage, but maybe you feel like your lips simply can't be plumped. Luckily, with some simple at-home solutions, there are ways to plump any type of lips.
1. Hydration is necessary for achieving plump lips. Drink water as often as you can and carry a good lip balm with SPF with you.
2.Before you get in the shower, rub a thick layer of petroleum jelly or honey on and around your lips but don't wipe it off in the shower. The steam will help it to penetrate, giving you smooth lips. Wipe off any residue when you're done.
3. Make your own stuff: mix a small of amount of honey and a small amount of brown sugar in a bowl then rub in on your lips for 3 minutes wipe it off and clean your lips off with a wet paper towel. Top it off with a layer of aquaphor once they are dry.
4. After brushing your teeth, use your toothbrush or a terrycloth towel to exfoliate your lips. This will also temporarily swell them. If your lips are really dry and flaking, then try a layer of Carmex, topped with a layer of petroleum jelly or Aquaphor when you go to sleep at night. You should wake up with soft, flake-free lips.
5. Invest in a good lip plumper that has MaxiLip or hyaluronic acid as an ingredient rather than an irritant like cinnamon oil (which will be painful and only temporarily swell your lips). Apply it once or twice a day. When applying, open your mouth as wide as possible to get the best effect.

Beauty Tip of the Day
Everyone wants something fun, fast, and easy to do with their hair when you're constantly on the go this summer. Using a stretchy headband, you just take large sections of hair and wrap around the band, tucking in the loose strands. You can even do this with leaving half of your hair down or pull a few pieces of hair down in the front for a softer look.
Beauty Tip of the Day!
A brown smokey eye is a great look if you want a dramatic look, without being too dark. The pop of gold on the inner third of the eye really brightens up the eye and adds a bit of light to make the eyes really standout. This look works really well on all eye colors - brown, hazel/green or blue. If you're light complected and don't feel comfortable with a look this dark, you can soften it up a bit by skipping the black liner and using a deep brown or charcoal - or you can skip the liner all together. If you have small eyes, black on the waterline can make the eyes appear even smaller, so to avoid this, make sure the eyeshadow on your bottom lash line is extra smokey and extended out and apply a good coat of mascara to the bottom lashes. Adding a flesh toned, ivory or brown liner to your waterline is also an option to open up the eyes.
What you will need:
A matte, light brown eyeshadow
A dark brown eyeshadow
A shimmery brown eyeshadow
A gold eyeshadow
A light matte eyeshadow for the highlight
A black eyeshadow
A black eyeliner pencil
Mascara
False Eyelashes (optional)

Beauty Tip of the Day!
Dry Shampoo
When you’re pressed for time, there is nothing that saves the day faster than dry shampoo. A good few spritzes and your hair problems are over – or so you think. We’ve all had mishaps when we’ve sprayed too much and come out with chalky roots or a heavy mess of epic proportions. We love the stuff, but exactly how do you use it?
1. Get to the root of the matter: When using a dry shampoo, it is important to spray it right on the roots to remove access oil.
2. Divide and conquer: In order to get best results, you’ll want to divide your hair into small sections and spray each section underneath at the roots.
3. Flip it for fabulousness: Once you spray each section thoroughly, don’t stop there! Flip your head upside down and gently massage the dry shampoo into the hair. This will really help revive the hair and add volume and texture, making it easier to style.
4. Back (comb) it up: If you have limp hair, take a brush and gently back comb the hair after you spray the dry shampoo. This will add volume at the crown of your hair and help evenly distribute the product through your stands.
5. Back away from the regular shampoo - If you wash your hair too much, it can actually produce more oil, so try washing less frequently—say, every other day or every two days – and use a dry shampoo in between for maintenance. Dry shampoo will quickly become your second day hair best friend.

Beauty Tip of the Day
Exfoliation & Hydration
To get that radiant glow be sure to pamper your skin with a full body exfoliation. Buffing away dead skin will keep your pores from clogging, speed up your skins natural renewal process and help your skin to absorb moisturiser.

The key to getting that perfect faux glow is not just having a great bronzer; it's knowing how to apply it as well. Since it's so easy to accidentally look like a muddy Oompa Loompa instead of Jessica Alba, we asked makeup artist Nick Barose for his best application tips, as well as his advice on picking the best bronzer for your skin tone.
Beauty Tip of the Day!
Facials are a great way to keep your skin glowing, but they can be pricey.
For All Skin Types
Brighten: Cut a slice of ripe papaya and remove the seeds and pulp (save the pulp for a snack later—it’s great for digestion). Rub the inside of the papaya peel on your cleansed face, focusing on lines around the mouth and eyes, crow’s feet, thinning temples, neck and hands. Let it dry for 15 to 20 minutes, then rinse with tepid water. This mask can be done twice a week. The enzymes in papaya exfoliate, repair sun damage, diminish age spots and smooth skin.

The Fastest Way to Dry Nail Polish
Dunk your hands in a bowl of ice-cold water. Allow nails to air-dry for two minutes, then submerge in ice-cold water for three minutes, which is enough time for the polish to harden completely.
Another option: Blast nails with cool air from a hair dryer in between coats. This helps each layer of color dry as you go.
Quick tip: Old nail polish can take forever to dry, since time can turn polish gooey and thick. Toss bottles when the polish begins to change color or separate. At that point, the lacquer has probably thickened and become unusable.

Beauty Tip of the Day!
Everyone wants that flawless skin that we see in magazines. When purchasing acne-fighting products, look for the ingredients glycolic acid, salicylic acid and retinol, which help skin shed dead cells that can clog pores, and benzoyl peroxide, which kills acne causing bacteria on the skin. These products can help prevent blackheads before they start, which is your best strategy.
If you already have blackheads, don’t pick at them yourself. Go to a professional and schedule a microdermabrasion session. The simple treatment involves a dermatologist or esthetician using tiny exfoliating crystals through a vacuum-like machine. It smooths the skin as well as help with texture problems and dark spots. Because it’s such a deep exfoliation, it will help to prevent or remove any blackheads.

Beauty Tip of the Day!
During this sticky, humid time of year the last thing we want are globs of makeup. But long, luscious lashes — those are a year-round necessity. Follow these five rules to get perfect eyelashes without having to revert to time-consuming falsies or expensive extensions.
1. Eyelash curlers are essential.
2. Let lashes set between layers of mascara.
3. Prevent “spider lashes” with a lash comb.
4. Don’t layer different mascaras.
5. Condition and treat your lashes daily.

Beauty Tip of the Day!
MODELS at the spring/summer 2014 shows were the very picture of health, with sun-kissed skin, flushed cheeks and warm tones giving them a just-back-from-holiday glow as they showed off the season's new collections.
Kardashian-style contouring this was not - instead summer's glow is a natural-looking wash of subtle colour across noses, cheeks, temples and brows, giving models a healthy, outdoorsy look that seems casual rather than contrived.

Need a little detox? Lemons support your liver and kidneys, and there’s a clear connection between healthy organs and healthy skin. Vitamin C-rich foods such as oranges may help prevent wrinkles, too.
