Beauty tip in honor of Tint School Spirit Day…remembering the 80's!
From our experience 80's makeup and hair is fun, fun, fun! For the makeup, bright colors are crucial! Blue eyeshadow and fuchsia blush and lipstick is perfect for the look. For the hair, it should be crimped, even if you have bangs--crimp them too! Check out some of these 80's inspired looks and try them all.

You can add one or two pastel colors like pink and blue or wear multiple colors just as easily. The result? Colorful pastel hair that looks fantastic in a braid, messy bun or swept back in a clip.

Beauty Tip for Vintage hairstyles.. We love them all!
Vintage hairstyles are becoming more popular, and will continue to be a hairstyling obsession in 2014.
Each season, one thing remains the same: updated versions of retro hairstyles are spotted at the hottest red carpet events and on every notable runway. There is just something about styles from the 20s, 30s, 40s, and 50s that still resonate with women today. Maybe it’s the sophistication. Or maybe it just has to do with the fact that these styles are super flattering! Check out some of these beautiful looks!

Beauty Tip: Makeup from the 20's!
During the early twenties cream or ivory colored face powder was used by most women. Later in the middle of the twenties a powder corresponding to the nature hue of skin - perhaps a nuance brighter - came in fashion.
For rouge the colors rose, raspberry, and around 1925 also orange were popular.
From the middle of the twenties on lips were colored in deep red, deep brownish reds, plum and orange. The shades changed later at the end of the twenties. Colors like rose, raspberry and medium red were new trend.
Lipstick was applied as a "Cupid's-Bow" (Armor's Bow) to the upper lip. Also the lower lip was exaggerated a bit and the width of the lips de-emphasized a little.
Usually eyes were held quite dark. To get this effect the whole eye was edged with a black eyeliner and then the margins blured easily. The eyelid shadow was often painted in dark gray. Besides gray, colors like turquoise and green were also in fashion. To further emphasis of eyes eyelashes were also painted black.
Very popular were thin, black and downward sloping eyebows which were inked with a black or brown eyeliner.
The fingernails were painted only in the nail center. The half-moon and nail tip were left bare and white.
