Wrap a section of hair around a medium-sized, round brush, then dry the roots in the opposite direction from the way they naturally fall. Once the roots are dry, direct the hair dryer down the hair shaft to smooth out the rest of the section. When you're finished, run your fingers through your hair to bring all the sections together.
